Job summary

SWH Swedish Hospital Chicago is seeking a Clinical Dietitian on a per diem basis in Chicago, IL. The role requires weekday availability, 7:00 am–3:00 pm, with rotations on holidays. Per diem positions are scheduled as needed; travel is not required.

The ideal candidate holds a BS degree and is licensed as a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in Illinois with RD registration. Strong communication with the medical team and computer skills are essential, along with the ability to document care

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Current Illinois Dietitian Nutritionist license and RD registration required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nutrition care for assigned patients.
• Identify malnutrition risk and perform nutrition assessments.
• Plan and monitor enteral nutrition prescriptions.
• Document nutrition care electronically.
• Instruct patients and families on modified diets.
• Participate in nutrition support teams and quality improvement efforts.
