Job summary

Serene Health Services in Maryland is seeking a per diem Clinical Dietitian to deliver medical nutrition therapy and evaluate treatment effectiveness in a long-term care setting. You will ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality nutrition services.

Responsibilities include planning and directing nutritional care, liaising with Dining Services and clinical staff, and maintaining records while adhering to CMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited college or university starting January 1, 2024.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed in Maryland or licensure within 6 months of hire.
• Must follow CMS vaccination guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Directly provide nutrition services according to policies and state/federal requirements.
• Plan, organize, develop, and direct nutritional care of residents per standards and regulations.
• Work with others to ensure daily provision of quality nutritional services.
• Serve as a resource to Dining Services to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary dining areas.
• Liaise between dining department and clinical staff for seamless communication and coordination.
