La Maestra Community Health Centers in City Heights is seeking a Chiropractor to care for patients with neuromusculoskeletal issues, using spinal adjustments and related techniques to manage pain and mobility.
Responsibilities include charting in LMFC protocols, presenting workshops with medical staff, discussing pregnancy and children’s issues, and referring patients when needed. The role emphasizes patient education on health and lifestyle with per diem, non-exempt status.
Pay Range: $70.00 to $ 80.00 per hour, Depends on Experience (DOE)

The Chiropractor cares for patients with health problems of the neuromusculoskeletal system, which includes nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. They use spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, such as back and neck pain.
Education: Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from a board approved chiropractic college. Completion of 24 hours of yearly re-licensing seminars
Certification: Current valid California Chiropractic Examiner license Current valid CPR certificate
Experience: At least 6 months of practice experience after Chiropractic college graduation
Verbal and Written Skills to perform the job: Familiarity with basic Word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Accurate keyboarding skills. Ability to relate to the patients, through familiarity with medical terminology and triage procedure.
Technical knowledge and skills required to perform the job: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals and groups. Demonstrate high levels of self-initiation and direction. Knowledge of communities we serve. Knowledge and experience working in medical settings and interacting collaboratively with medical teams. Skill in analyzing situations and making timely decisions. Ability to coordinate/lead staff with their schedule, audits and money batches. Ability to work under pressure.
Physical and Mental Requirements: Work involves sitting, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
