Responsibilities
Verify patient's identity and review physicians’ orders before x-ray procedures.
Use X-ray equipment to take radiographic images.
Explain x-ray procedures to patients.
Position patients during procedures.
Limit patients' exposure to radiation using lead shields.
Ensure sound quality of X-rays to prevent repeats.
Work closely with the resident Radiologist.
Maintain x-ray equipment and notify management of issues.
Keep accurate records of completed procedures.
