Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures using fixed equipment.
• Selects correct technical factors and equipment programming per procedure.
• Monitors patient and operates the hemodynamic system for data acquisition.
• Maintains accurate records of procedures and related materials.
• Ensures sterile technique and compliance with hospital and department policy.
• Selects images for acquisition and sends to PACS; assists in viewing images.
• Prepares preliminary cath reports with descriptive and quantitative data.
