Job summary

ScionHealth in Watertown, WI is seeking a Multi-Care Technician I to support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform basic patient care, assist with ADLs, and participate in unit operations, including 12-lead EKG testing.

Qualified applicants will have at least a High School Diploma and CNA/CMA/EMT credentials upon hire or eligibility, plus BLS. One year of hospital patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Postsecondary healthcare certificate(s) recommended
• CNA/CMA/EMT certification required on hire or eligibility
• BLS certification required on hire or within timeframe
• 1+ year hospital patient care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including monitoring vital signs and documenting intake/output
• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Maintain clean, safe patient rooms and unit environments
• Perform clerical tasks to support nursing station operations
• Perform 12-lead EKG testing as directed
• Communicate with patients, families and care team
• Support infection prevention practices and patient safety protocols
• Take on additional duties to support patient care and unit operations
