Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA seeks a Cardiovascular Technician to perform non-invasive cardiac testing (EKGs, stress tests, Holter, EEGs) and manage related clerical duties. Role is per diem, onsite, with patient-centered responsibilities and ongoing competency requirements.

CPR training is required; EKG reading coursework should be completed within 6 months of hire. Join a dedicated team within the Cardiology Services department.

Qualifications

• CPR training required.
• Completion of an EKG reading course preferred, otherwise required within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrated expertise with typing, Dictaphone, and medical terminology preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact appropriately with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Review medical records and prepare patients for examinations.
• Apply electrodes and record wave tracings for cardiac diagnoses.
• Perform EEGs and assist in treadmill procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist in Billing and Scheduling.
