Qualifications

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or RDCS through ARDMS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment following infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Review patient history, indications, and prior images to understand the exam purpose.
• Position patients and use ergonomic scanning techniques to ensure comfort and safety.
• Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms independently within six months of hire.
• Perform ultrasound contrast and bubble studies as indicated.
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and recognize cardiovascular anatomy and pathology.
• Prepare preliminary reports and communicate findings to interpreting physicians promptly.
• Support scheduling, patient flow and department operations; meet productivity targets.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with all policies.

As a Cardiac Sonographer I, you will play an important role in supporting timely diagnosis and treatment by performing comprehensive echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound studies for adult and/or pediatric patients in outpatient and hospital-based settings.**Qualifications****About the Role** Following an orientation period, you will independently perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms and/or bubble studies while demonstrating foundational knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology within your assigned patient population.
