Job summary

Rochester Regional Health's Rochester General Hospital and Unity Hospital are seeking a Per Diem Echocardiography Technician to perform medically prescribed diagnostic echocardiographic procedures and assist cardiology reading physicians.

The role requires RDCS or RCS credentials, 2 years of cardiac imaging experience or equivalent education, and strong patient care and imaging skills. Per diem schedule includes evenings and weekends with wage range $36.25–$51.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS credential required.
• 2 years of cardiac imaging experience or equivalent education.
• Registered cardiac sonographer program completion or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedure and ensure patient cooperation and safety.
• Perform and document echocardiographic imaging and measurements.
• Transfer studies to PACS and prepare preliminary interpretation for review.
