Job summary

NeurAbilities Healthcare in Allentown, PA is seeking a Per Diem Behavior Technician (BHT) to work one-to-one with clients in clinic, home, and school settings, applying ABA under BCBA supervision to create meaningful change.

You will work per-diem with flexible schedules, help improve communication and independence, collaborate with families and treatment teams, and participate in data collection and program materials while building strong therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 6 months of experience with children and adolescents with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Must be able to travel to various service locations with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work one-to-one with clients in clinic, home, and/or school setting, implementing ABA under supervision of a BCBA to create meaningful change.
• Work per-diem, appointment-based schedules.
• Assist clients in improving communication, social, and independent living skills.
• Collaborate with family, caregivers, and treatment teams to deliver effective support.
• Follow treatment plan and educate others about ABA interventions.
• Collect and maintain data, manage client program materials, and foster therapeutic relationships.
