Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Per Diem Ambulatory Care Nurse in Brooklyn Heights. The role supports coordination and evaluation of nursing practice, participates in quality improvement, and collaborates with licensed providers to develop patient-centered care plans.

The successful candidate will administer treatments, provide health education, and ensure compliance with NYULH standards. Requires NYS RN license and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support Certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Records information in electronic health record.
• Administers medications incl. vaccination, IV therapy, oxygen; triage by phone and in-person.
• Assesses and interprets patient information to guide treatment, collaborates with licensed providers.
• Directs, supervises and delegates to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants as needed.
