Formación

• Graduate of accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate).
• Licensed in Massachusetts with BLS CPR.
• Ability to work effectively in an acute-care hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and assessments for medical, surgical, ortho, neuro, and cardiopulmonary diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on medical status, goals, and discharge needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including bed mobility, transfer, gait, balance, exercises, and functional mobility training.
• Monitor patient responses, vitals, and changes in medical status; adjust treatment as needed.
• Educate patients and families on mobility, safety, equipment, and home programs.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge plans in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, and other team members.
