Job summary

Northwell Health seeks an Acupuncturist for the NHMP DB Integrative Medicine program. Primary work at Norwalk, CT with a second site in Danbury, CT. Per diem, 8-hour shifts, 8:30am - 5:00pm, providing traditional East Asian medicine therapies to patients.

Licensure in CT required; ACAOM Master’s degree and CE credits necessary; DAOM preferred. The role supports interdisciplinary care within integrative medicine, contributing to patient-centered treatment plans and clinical research initiatives

Qualifications

• Must graduate from ACAOM-accredited acupuncture college or program approved by CT.
• DAOM from ACAOM-accredited college strongly preferred.
• Current CT LAc licensure required.
• At least 2 years of clinical acupuncture experience preferred; NCCAOM Diplomate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide acupuncture and East Asian medicine services to Integrative Medicine patients.
• Communicate with the IM interdisciplinary team and participate in care conferences.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and obtain health history and evaluation.
• Document sessions and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist in developing educational materials and participate in clinical research.
