Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Acupuncturist to deliver acupuncture services at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, NJ.

The role emphasizes integrative health and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care. Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s degree, NJ Licensed Acupuncturist, at least three years of clinical acupuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office/Google Suite; strong communication and documentation skills

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Acupuncturist.
• Formal training in acupuncture and completion of a professional educational program in a clinical health care specialty.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of holistic healthcare and integrative medicine.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

The Part-Time Acupuncturist, in the field of integrative health and medicine reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and professions to achieve optimal health and healing. Simply put, integrative health and medicine offer best practices for optimal health and healing. The Acupuncturist will provide acupuncture services to a variety of clients who suffer from conditions that are amenable to treatment with this modality. In addition to direct service delivery, the person in this position is also responsible for documenting the services provided, as well as communication with referral sources and other treating providers as needed. Location is Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Master's Degree.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Acupuncturist.
