Job summary

BrightStar Care of Acton, Andover & Lowell is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home health team, serving Worcester, Marlborough, Westborough, Hudson and nearby areas. You will implement therapist plans, guide patient exercises, and document progress to support independence in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current, valid Massachusetts PTA license to practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises and mobility techniques to improve strength, coordination, and independence.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress or changes to the supervising therapist and physician.
• Educate patients and their families on safe mobility practices and use of assistive equipment.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in accordance with BrightStar Care standards.
