Job summary

PepperJax Grill in Topeka, KS is hiring Shift Managers who bring leadership, reliability and a positive attitude to a fast-paced kitchen and dining room. You will supervise shifts, greet customers, take orders, grill, and ensure safe food handling with a friendly team.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, competitive pay ($14–$16 per hour, with tips bringing $16–$18), flexible scheduling and benefits for full-time staff. Join a growing brand known for great food and great people.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership and kitchen experience is preferred.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, twist, kneel, climb up and down, stoop, reach and grasp objects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to communicate in primary language of location.
• Background check and motor vehicle check required.
• Must have adequate transportation.
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time.
• Cleaning (dining room, kitchen area, front/behind counter, restrooms, entry and exit locations, etc.)
• Greet Customers, take orders, grill food, assemble meals and process payments efficiently and accurately.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food.
• Skilled with multitasking.
• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts.
