Job summary

PepperJax Grill is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced environment. You will greet customers, take orders, grill, assemble meals, and handle payments efficiently while maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards.

Ideal candidates have leadership or kitchen experience, reliable transportation, and are 18+. We offer full- and part-time opportunities with potential for advancement and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership and kitchen experience is preferred.
• Must have adequate transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in the primary language of location.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers, take orders, grill food, assemble meals and process payments efficiently and accurately.
• Perform shift manager duties and exhibit strong leadership skills.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food.
• Cleaning (dining room, kitchen area, front/behind counter, restrooms, entry and exit locations, etc.).
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time; work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior leadership and kitchen experience is preferred.
• Lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Bend, twist, kneel, climb up and down, stoop, reach and grasp objects above or below waistline
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to communicate in primary language of location
• Background check and motor vehicle check required
• Must have adequate transportation
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Cleaning (dining room, kitchen area, front/behind counter, restrooms, entry and exit locations, etc.)
• Greet Customers, take orders, grill food, assemble meals and process payments efficiently and accurately

• Skilled with multitasking
• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work together as a team, assisting other Team Members in completion of tasks and assignments to ensure cohesive service.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
