Job summary

PepperJax Grill is hiring for Shift Managers to lead daily operations and ensure high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

The role involves supervising shifts, coordinating with team members, and maintaining best-in-class service while upholding PepperJax Grill’s standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership and kitchen experience is preferred.
• Lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to communicate in primary language of location.
• Background check and motor vehicle check required.
• Must have adequate transportation.
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers, take orders, grill food, assemble meals and process payments efficiently and accurately.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior leadership and kitchen experience is preferred.
• Lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Bend, twist, kneel, climb up and down, stoop, reach and grasp objects above or below waistline
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to communicate in primary language of location
• Background check and motor vehicle check required
• Must have adequate transportation
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Cleaning (dining room, kitchen area, front/behind counter, restrooms, entry and exit locations, etc.)
• Greet Customers, take orders, grill food, assemble meals and process payments efficiently and accurately

• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
