PEPI - CFO Services - Senior Associate (Financial Reporting Advisory)

OVERVIEW:

A&M CFO Services collaborates with private equity-held portfolio companies, providing solutions to preserve and generate value. Our goal is to enhance transparency through accounting and financial reporting advice on transactions and events, including compliance with new or revised standards and effective management of reporting processes.

FOCUS AREAS - Financial Reporting Advisory:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP, understand accounting changes, and advise clients on complex guidance application.
• Prepare and review financial reports pre- and post-deal to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and resolve EBITDA volatility, unexpected results, or unreconciled accounts through advisory or interim roles.
• Assist in IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and audit support.
• Manage working capital disputes towards favorable outcomes.

PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS:

Data Collection, Validation, and Analysis:

• Gather relevant information, participate in client interviews, and understand stakeholder perspectives.
• Identify knowledge gaps, challenge assumptions, and develop better insights.
• Assess business challenges, forecast liquidity, and evaluate process efficiencies.
• Present issues and opportunities clearly.
• Understand finance processes and data consolidation for value creation.

Project Management and Implementation:

• Develop logical project approaches, timelines, and deliverables.
• Set clear client expectations.
• Create actionable initiatives to optimize working capital and improve transparency.
• Identify risks early and communicate with clients proactively.
• Recognize service gaps within CFO pillars.

Financial Acumen:

• Build and review financial models, analyze data, and evaluate accounting treatments.
• Provide insights and improvement strategies to senior management and boards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• B.A./B.S. degree or higher from an accredited university.
• Accounting major preferred.

Meeting education requirements for CPA certification in the applicable state is required.

The salary range is $100,000-$150,000 annually, depending on education, experience, skills, and location. A discretionary bonus program is also offered based on individual and firm performance. Please consult your recruiter for further details.
