Mavis Tires & Brakes in the Comstock Park, MI area is hiring full-time General Service Technicians. You will perform essential maintenance and tire services, mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and inspections while learning from experienced technicians to build hands-on skills. The role offers paid training, weekly pay with incentives, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.

About the General Service Technician Position

As a General Service Technician, you'll perform essential maintenance and tire services that help keep our customers safely on the road. You'll work alongside experienced automotive professionals while developing valuable hands‑on skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Be at least 18 years of age

Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Physical Requirements

General Service Technicians must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with automotive and tire service. Technicians must also be able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
