Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned PeopleTools Specialist to manage architecture, installation, configuration, and ongoing operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments remotely across the U.S. The role emphasizes upgrades, patching, and integration with WebLogic/Tuxedo and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience, strong scripting skills, and a proven ability to mentor engineers while supporting production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PUM.
• Strong knowledge of WebLogic, Tuxedo, Oracle Database, and Linux/Unix.
• Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and PeopleSoft Cloud Manager.
• Strong scripting, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support PeopleSoft environments.
• Perform PeopleTools upgrades, PUM image applications, and patching.
• Administer WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, and application servers.
• Manage Elasticsearch/OpenSearch for PeopleSoft.
• Perform system refreshes, clones, migrations, and HA/DR activities.
• Develop automation using Shell, Python, or Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support production environments.

Job Title: PeopleTools Specialist

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually

Experience Required: 6+ years
