Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer for a 100% remote role based in the United States. This position offers a direct path to influence enterprise PeopleSoft environments and collaborate across cloud, middleware, and database technologies.

You will lead upgrades, security configurations, and integration efforts, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with product, design, and operations teams to craft robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
• Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
• Experience administering Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
• Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer responsible for the architecture, installation, configuration, upgrade, and ongoing technical operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments. In this role you will own the technical backbone of the PeopleSoft platform — including PeopleTools upgrades, image applications, security configurations, search server operations, and integration with cloud and middleware platforms. The ideal candidate will combine deep PeopleTools and PeopleSoft administration experience with strong fundamentals in Oracle database, Linux/Unix, and modern DevOps practices. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

• Experience with PeopleSoft Selective Adoption strategy.
