PEOPLESOFT INTEGRATOR/SUPPORT ANALYST: PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 or higher, Human Resources DOE Contract OPEN

Estimated Length: 12 months, 40 hours per week

SUMMARY OF THE FUNCTION/ROLE

Client is seeking a temporary consultant to serve as a remote PeopleSoft Business Analyst and Functional Lead. This consultant will be responsible for implementing new PeopleSoft modules, functionality, or enhancements and supporting existing modules currently in production.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Perform detailed analysis, planning, and requirements definition for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality.
  2. Develop functional architectures and models to meet evolving business requirements.
  3. Conduct process improvement reviews, analyzing system functionality, operations, logistics, and personnel needs.
  4. Map business processes to corresponding PeopleSoft functionalities.
  5. Ensure applications align with business needs and collaborate with process owners to resolve issues.
  6. Define data flow and ensure integration between business processes and systems.
  7. Facilitate requirements gathering and user design sessions with key stakeholders.
  8. Collaborate and coordinate project deliverables with other Client groups such as Performance Management.
  9. Collaborate with application designers to complete system enhancement designs.
  10. Design and develop reports for HCM users.
  11. Participate in testing of new functionalities, including end-to-end testing and system integration testing.
  12. Assist the team lead in defining staffing, responsibilities, and schedules for system enhancements.
  13. Identify cross-team issues and coordinate their resolution.
  14. Develop PeopleSoft queries to meet reporting needs.
  15. Write complex DML and DQL SQL scripts for database queries.
RISKS

Desk work only. No work will be performed within 50 feet of track right-of-way. No work may involve areas with environmental risks (lead, asbestos).

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  1. Minimum 10 years of functional and technical experience in PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 or higher.
  2. Extensive experience with the following PeopleSoft modules:
  • Human Resources
  • Compensation
  • Position Management
  • Performance Management
  • Learning and Development
  • Benefits Administration
  • Talent Acquisition Management/Candidate Gateway
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft self-service functions.
  • Proven track record of full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations (design, build, configuration, testing, and deployment).
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft Test Framework is a plus.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into functional and technical designs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, address, and escalate risks and issues.
  • Experience reviewing project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established standards.
  • 10+ years of experience in building moderate to complex PeopleSoft queries.
  • 10+ years of extensive experience writing DQL and DML SQL scripts.
  • Experience with state government projects is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Strong understanding of relational database design and functionality.
  • Experience in desktop/mobile computer support and troubleshooting software-related problems.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
