Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned PeopleSoft Integration Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations across internal systems, cloud apps, and third-party platforms. This remote role focuses on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, and security.

The candidate will pair hands-on Integration Broker work with broader PeopleTools knowledge and deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 12+ years of PeopleSoft development experience, with Integration Broker focus.
• Experience designing REST/SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Strong PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• XML, XSLT, JSON knowledge; web service security (WS-Security, OAuth2).
• Middleware familiarity with OIC, MuleSoft and Boomi.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous REST and SOAP integrations.
• Develop transformations with XSLT and PeopleCode, document outcomes.
• Configure inbound/outbound security: WS-Security, OAuth2, certificates.
• Implement robust error-handling, retries, and monitoring.
• Lead migrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns.
• Optimize high-volume integrations with queue tuning and async design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow, and middleware.
• Maintain comprehensive architecture diagrams, runbooks, and docs.
• Provide hypercare support and root-cause analysis post go-live.
• Mentor junior engineers through code/design reviews and pairing.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Integration Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms. This role focuses specifically on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on Integration Broker experience with broader PeopleTools knowledge and a strong understanding of API and integration design patterns. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners- product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders- to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
• Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards.
• Configure security on inbound and outbound services, including WS-Security, OAuth2, and certificate-based authentication.
• Build robust error-handling and retry mechanisms, including notifications, monitoring, and resubmission workflows.
• Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid integration scenarios.
• Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns, planning phased cutovers, building backward-compatibility shims where needed, and ensuring each migration step is reversible and well-monitored.
• Optimize performance of high-volume integrations through queue tuning, parallel processing, and asynchronous design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud applications (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow) and middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures — so that the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over time.
• Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and integration architects, gathering requirements, aligning on technical approach, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet both functional needs and broader engineering and operational standards.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and structured knowledge sharing, helping the broader team grow in technical maturity and confidence over time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 12 or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
