Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in Oceanport, NJ is seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst II to support enterprise systems and drive design for key modules. You will gather requirements, translate them into functional specs, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful conversions.

You will help prepare documentation, assist testing, and promote process improvements while maintaining stakeholder communication and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of PeopleSoft Functional Design experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. Actual compensation will depend on educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Typical Day

• Understanding functional processes and business rules related to the modules being supported.
• Participating in requirements analysis sessions and developing design specifications for each module.
• Maintaining knowledge of system design and build; creating robust business and functional documentation for technical design, testing, and implementation.
• Acting as liaison between functional and technical conversion teams.
• Assisting the testing team to execute test scripts that thoroughly exercise the conversion.
• Performing application troubleshooting and problem solving related to conversion. Must be able to handle multiple activities simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.
• Recommending process improvements based on industry standards and resolving integrated process issues, especially related to conversion.
• Identifying, resolving, and escalating project issues in a reasonable period of time.
• Developing clear and concise documentation that facilitates repeatable migration of applications or processes.
• Scheduling and prioritizing with limited input, utilizing project management processes to maintain schedules and deadlines.
• Encouraging knowledge sharing among peers and business partners; actively promoting informal mentorships within the team and maintaining visibility to group strategic roadmaps.
• Encouraging the creation of system documentation to support the goal of becoming a learning organization.
