Job summary

CACI is hiring a Peoplesoft Application Developer to modernize the HRMS platform for federal customers. You will work on a multi-year program to replace a 20+ year legacy system, enabling self-service and advanced capabilities with Oracle PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, and Integration Broker.

You will drive design, development, testing, and deployment across the PeopleSoft lifecycle, collaborating with product owners, analysts, and stakeholders to minimize customizations while ensuring robust

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a computer-related field is required.
  • 5 years experience in information systems implementation, change management or process redesign.
  • 3 years of technical development with PeopleSoft HRMS ERP including PeopleSoft 9.x.
  • 5 years developing, prototyping and testing information systems solutions.
  • 2 years of experience with Oracle and SQL commands.
  • Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology.
  • Experience implementing PeopleSoft.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Onsite work in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical solution design, development, deployment/cutover and implementation of the PeopleSoft lifecycle.
  • Provide hands-on technical solutions to business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions.
  • Provide technical development using PeopleTools and system design skills.
  • Collaborate with Requirements Analysts to understand user stories and deliver features each sprint.
  • Analyze vendor updates and upgrades impacts to the system.
  • Suggest mature approaches to minimize customizations of the product.
  • Provide production support by analyzing, designing, programming and testing solutions.
  • Develop test scenarios and test cases.
  • Correct data in critical situations.

We are replacing a 20+ year old legacy system by modernizing the core technology, reducing the number of interdependent systems, and bringing user self-service to our customer. As a PeopleSoft HRMS Application Developer, this is your chance to work with the newest capabilities within Oracle PeopleSoft over the course of the multi-year program, with discussions underway to include digital chatbots to help the customer do more with less as the technology matures.

Responsibilities
  • Drive technical solution design, development, deployment/cutover, and implementation covering all technical aspects of the PeopleSoft implementation lifecycle

  • Provide hands‑on technical solutions to business challenges & translates them into process/technical solutions

  • Provide technical development, utilizing PeopleTools, and system design skills.

  • Work with the Requirements Analysts to understand user stories and deliver feature/capabilities each sprint

  • Analyze the impacts of vendor‑provided updates and upgrades to the system;

  • Work with Product Owner and Requirements Analyst to suggest novel approaches to problems to minimize customizations of the product.

  • Provide production support by analyzing, designing, programming, and testing solutions to complex production problems.

  • Develop test scenarios and test cases.

  • Correct data in critical situations.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a computer‑related field. Will consider experience in lieu of degree

  • Five (5) years of experience in information systems implementation, change management efforts or application process redesign

  • Three (3) years of technical development experience with PeopleSoft™ HRMS ERP including recent experience with PeopleSoft™ 9.x

  • Five (5) years’ experience in developing, prototyping, and testing solutions for information systems implementation

  • Two (2) years of experience with ORACLE and SQL commands.

  • Technical development experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology.

  • Technical development experience implementing PeopleSoft™.

  • Current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph

  • Work onsite in Chantilly, VA

Desired
  • Experience applying broad management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to lead information systems projects.

  • Experience providing subject matter expertise in industry, process, or technology areas.

  • Experience with design and process documentation.

  • Experience with unit testing IT applications.

  • Customer domain experience

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,600 - $181,800
