Job summary

Centerfield in Playa Vista, CA is hiring a People Systems Analyst to own the People tech ecosystem, ensuring accurate data, workflows, and a great employee experience.

You’ll administer HR platforms (Rippling, Ashby, Fountain, Sana, HireRight, Checkr); build automations, integrations, and reports using Looker/Tableau/Power BI; explore AI-enabled improvements.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4+ years HRIS/People tech, advanced Excel, BI tools; hybrid work Tue-Thu in office.

• Experience with API integrations, webhooks, data mapping, or working with technical teams.

The Opportunity...

We are seeking a People Systems Analyst to own Centerfield's People technology ecosystem. As the primary owner of People systems and technology, this role ensures our platforms, data, integrations, and automation capabilities enable an exceptional employee experience while supporting efficient, scalable, and data-driven People Operations.

Working across Centerfield’s HRIS applicant tracking systems, learning platforms, background screening tools, and other People technologies - including Rippling, Ashby, Fountain, Sana, HireRight, Checkr, and future platforms - this role owns all system-related employee lifecycle transactions, maintains accurate employee data, builds workflows and automations, develops reporting and dashboards, supports integrations, and identifies opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technology.

How You'll Contribute...

People Systems Administration

• Serve as the primary administrator for Centerfield’s People technology ecosystem.

• Administer platforms including Rippling, Ashby, Fountain, Sana, HireRight, and future People technologies.

• Oversee all employee lifecycle system transactions, including new hires, onboarding, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, manager changes, organizational changes, leaves of absence, and terminations.

• Configure and maintain workflows, approvals, forms, templates, permissions, security roles, and system settings.

• Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and vendor management.

Employee Data Management & Governance

• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely employee data across all People systems.

• Perform routine audits and resolve data discrepancies.

• Establish and maintain data governance standards and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, security standards, and data privacy requirements.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.

• Build reporting to support onboarding, performance reviews, talent reviews, compensation planning, learning initiatives, engagement surveys, and other People programs.

• Leverage advanced Excel skills and business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to provide meaningful insights.

• Translate business questions into actionable reporting and recommendations.

Systems Integrations, Automation & AI

• Partner with IT and Engineering teams to design, implement, test, and support integrations between People systems and other business applications.

• Support custom solutions via APIs, data mapping, webhooks, file transfers, and integration concepts,

• Build and maintain automated workflows that improve efficiency and reduce manual work.

• Evaluate AI tools and automation technologies that improve operational efficiency, reporting, and the employee experience.

• Recommend enhancements that modernize the People technology ecosystem and support organizational growth.

What We're Looking For...

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Analytics, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 4+ years of experience administering HRIS, People Systems, or HR Technology platforms.

• Experience with modern HR technology such as Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Fountain, or similar platforms.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, and data analysis.

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills.

• Experience supporting system integrations and working with APIs, webhooks, data mapping, or technical teams is strongly preferred.

• Experience building workflow automations using native platform tools or automation platforms is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies.
