Centerfield, a leading performance-based digital marketing company, is seeking a energetic People Partner to join our Playa Vista, CA-based People team. You will be the go-to HR partner for managers across corporate teams, supporting the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You'll advise on people matters, assist with immigration and visa sponsorship, partner with Talent Acquisition during hiring ramps, and collaborate with Payroll,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist/partner role.
• Experience advising and coaching managers on people matters.

Centerfield is looking for an energetic, resourceful People Partner to join our People team in our Playa Vista headquarters. Reporting directly to the HR Director, Corporate, this role is the ultimate generalist launchpad - a high-visibility, hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to touch every facet of the employee lifecycle in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

In this role, you will act as a core operational engine and trusted partner for Managers and Sr. Managers across our corporate teams. From front-line manager coaching, performance guidance, and employee relations to immigration case management, talent acquisition support, and high-impact ad hoc people initiatives, no two days will look the same. How You'll Contribute...

Manager Enablement & People Advisory

• Serve as a direct HR partner and trusted sounding board for Managers and Sr. Managers across corporate teams.

• Coach and guide managers on team communication, performance management, employee development, and early conflict resolution.

• Help leaders navigate day-to-day employee concerns, reinforcing consistent policy application and practical problem-solving.

• Partner with the HR Director on sensitive or complex employee relations matters, documentation, and performance improvement plans.

Immigration & Global Mobility Support

• Act as the primary internal point of contact for corporate immigration and visa sponsorship processes.

• Partner with external immigration counsel, foreign national employees, and hiring managers to manage visa petitions (H-1B, TN, Green Cards, STEM OPT extensions, etc.).

• Track visa milestone dates, petition filings, and compliance documentation (such as Public Access Files) with precision and confidentiality.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Support

• Partner dynamically with the Talent Acquisition team during peak hiring cycles and critical business pushes.

• Support corporate onboarding workflows to ensure new hires experience a seamless, engaging first 90 days.

People Operations & Cross-Functional Projects

• Serve as a central connector and "catch-all" resource for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, leaves, and general workplace resources.

• Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS to ensure smooth data updates, reporting line changes, and lifecycle documentation.

• Lead and support a wide variety of ad hoc People initiatives—ranging from employee engagement events and recognition programs to process rollouts and operational documentation.

• Identify operational bottlenecks in day-to-day HR workflows and propose creative, scalable solutions.

What We're Looking For...

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, HR coordinator, or HR partner capacity.

• Hands-on experience advising and coaching Managers and Sr. Managers through everyday people matters and team challenges.

• Working exposure to employment visa and immigration processes (coordinating with external immigration attorneys and tracking petition timelines).

• Experience providing flexible, ad hoc support to Talent Acquisition teams during hiring ramps.

• Solid foundational knowledge of federal, California, and local employment regulations and workplace best practices.

• High degree of resourcefulness and adaptability - someone who thrives when wearing multiple hats and navigating ambiguous, evolving priorities.

• Stellar verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Proactive mindset with a genuine desire to learn, grow, and touch all areas of the People Operations ecosystem.

• Prior experience in a tech or high-growth corporate environment is a strong plus
