Job summary

Google is seeking a People Partner to support executive leaders within the Data Cloud Storage team, delivering world leading storage infrastructure and trusted, innovative solutions for the AI era.

You will develop a data-driven people strategy, partnering with business leaders to influence talent acquisition, development, motivation and retention while aligning with business goals and driving organizational change.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience as an HR business partner or HR generalist supporting leaders at global companies.
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.
  • Experience with organization transformations across multiple regions and integrating tenured teams with new capabilities and talent.
  • Experience with organizational design, succession planning, performance management, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture keeper, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with Google's leaders to create a comprehensive people plan to influence lasting change over large functions at Google.
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions.
  • Provide expertise in talent and performance management, change management, leadership coaching, data analysis and insights, employee relations and strategic development.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working as a management consultant, working with external clients.
  • Ability to work within constraints as well as to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and to be a part of deeply complex strategy discussions.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with executive leaders and a complex set of stakeholders to drive organizational change.

You will be involved in direct collaboration with Google teams to execute programs in compensation, performance management, and talent development.
