Job summary

Brook is seeking an experienced People & Organisational Development Partner to join the team. You will partner with managers across the organisation, providing practical and trusted advice on employee relations, absence, performance and organisational change.

You will also play an important part in developing our people policies and practices, supporting recruitment and retention, improving our systems and processes, and helping us identify workforce trends.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a generalist HR/People role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability).
• Experience coaching, advising and influencing managers at all levels.
• Experience supporting organisational change, including restructures and TUPE.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers across the organisation to provide practical and trusted HR advice on employee relations, absence, performance and change.
• Develop and implement HR policies and practices to support recruitment, retention and workforce planning.
• Improve HR systems and processes; identify workforce trends and opportunities.
