Job summary

Vitable, Inc. is hiring for a People Operations/HR role in the Philadelphia area. You will own onboarding/offboarding, maintain accurate employee records in Rippling, and provide everyday employee support on benefits, PTO, and verification requests.

You’ll also assist with semi-monthly payroll prep, open enrollment logistics, leave tracking, mail triage, and EOR/contractor onboarding, contributing to a high-volume, detail-focused operation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in HR, people operations, or another detail-heavy operations role.
• Experience with an HRIS (Rippling a plus) — helpful, not required
• Track record of managing high-volume recurring work without letting things slip
• Discretion with sensitive employee information, whether you're talking to a new hire or a state agency
• Comfort with ambiguity — when you hit something new, you dig in and find the answer
• Based in Philadelphia, onsite ~3 days/week - must live in the greater Philadelphia area

Responsibilities

• End-to-end onboarding and offboarding — offer letters, orientation scheduling, Rippling setup, equipment shipping, termination processing, access deprovisioning within SLA.
• Maintain employee records in Rippling and troubleshoot access issues as needed.
• Employee support for benefits questions, PTO, verification requests, and routing scope-issues to the right specialist.
• Support semi-monthly payroll prep, open enrollment logistics, and leave tracking with the administration partner.
• Handle mail triage and EOR/contractor onboarding as part of daily operations.

What You'll Own

• Onboarding and offboarding, end to end — offer letters, orientation scheduling, Rippling setup, equipment shipping, and on the other side, termination processing, access deprovisioning within SLA, COBRA notices, and separation paperwork.
• Employee records and systems — keeping Rippling accurate as addresses, managers, and employment statuses change, and troubleshooting access issues as the front line.
• Employee support — benefits questions, PTO, equity access, verification requests, and daily HR requests, routing what's outside your scope to the right specialist.

You'll also support semi-monthly payroll prep, open enrollment logistics, leave tracking with our administration partner, mail triage, and EOR/contractor onboarding.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years in HR, people operations, or another detail-heavy operations role
