Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a proactive People Operations Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and employee engagement. You will manage the applicant tracking system, schedule interviews, assist with job postings, help with internal communications, and provide general administrative support to FIRE’s operations team.
This role involves occasional after-hours work and minimal travel.
This position will be based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

FIRE is seeking a proactive, self‑motivated People Operations Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, comfortable juggling multiple tasks, and enjoys building relationships by serving as a brand ambassador for FIRE. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to support a variety of FIRE’s People Operations team initiatives while helping to create a positive and engaging experience for both employees and candidates.
The People Operations Coordinator will report directly to FIRE’s Chief People Officer and work closely with other members of FIRE’s People Operations and Administrative teams.

This position will also perform other support functions for the day‑to‑day operation of FIRE and will frequently collaborate with other staff members and departments on general duties and specialized projects.
This position involves a minimal amount of travel. Occasional work on weekends and evenings should be expected.
The expected start date for this position will be as soon as possible.

The projected salary range for this position is $47,000-$57,000. Compensation within that range will reflect the successful candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. FIRE conducts periodic evaluations where employees may receive raises or bonuses for outstanding and excellent work.
