Job summary

Chi’Lantro in Austin, TX is seeking a People Operations Generalist to own day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, onboarding, benefits, and compliance. This hands-on role reports to the Director of People Operations and Training & Development, with ownership from day one.

You must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and comfortable in an on-site Austin office with occasional restaurant visits. Compensation is to be discussed with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience running payroll processes end to end and ensuring accuracy biweekly.
• Ability to onboard new hires and manage benefits and compliance tasks.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish and ability to support a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day People Operations tasks including payroll, benefits, onboarding and compliance.
• Serve as first point of contact for team members and General Managers for People Ops needs.
• Partner with Director of People Operations to implement processes and improve operations.
• Own system usage for ADP, Harri, and Google Suites LMS and drive adoption.

We are seeking a People Operations Generalist to run the day-to-day of our People Operations department. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes owning their work end to end: payroll, benefits, onboarding, compliance, and being the first person our team members and General Managers come to when they need something. You will work alongside our Director of People Operations and Training & Development, with real ownership from day one. If you would rather go find the answer than wait for someone to hand it to you, you will do well here.
