Job summary

Journey Nursing Services seeks a Recruiter and HR Assistant to support full-cycle recruitment for caregivers, nurses, and administrative roles across the organization. You will build candidate pipelines, post jobs, source through diverse channels, and guide new hires through onboarding with close collaboration to the People Operations Manager and clinical leadership.

This 40-hour, office-based role typically runs Monday–Friday with some events and scheduling flexibility to meet staffing needs

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred for advanced roles.
Minimum one year of recruiting, HR, healthcare, or related experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Comfortable communicating by phone, email, and in person.
Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities.

Responsibilities

Support full-cycle recruitment for caregiving, nursing, clinical, and administrative roles.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
Create and manage job postings across platforms.
Source candidates through job boards, schools, partnerships, events, and networks.
Screen applicants and schedule interviews with managers.
Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the process.
Assist with onboarding and new employee orientation.
