Job summary

U-Haul in Fullerton, CA is hiring a Customer Service Representative. The role focuses on helping customers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using U-Scan tech to dispatch rentals.

Compensation ranges from $19 to $20 per hour, with opportunities to earn bonuses during onboarding and through the 1-2-3 Punch program. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, 1–2 years of experience, and forklift certification offered upon employment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of work experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
