Job summary

Serv-U-Success, based in Maumee, OH, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations and lead shifts to deliver exceptional store experiences. You will partner with the Store Manager to coach team members and ensure safety, organization, and customer focus throughout the store.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in retail or customer service, strong communication skills, and a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in retail, grocery, merchandising, or customer service.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including merchandising, product resets, remodels, and special projects.
• Lead assigned shifts and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members while reinforcing company standards and best practices.
• Monitor project progress and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Build positive relationships with customers, store leadership, and team members.
• Promote a culture of safety by modeling safe work practices and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Utilize company technology and reporting systems to support daily operations and project execution.
