Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Technical/Data Analyst for a contract role in Newark, NJ. The position is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Newark office, focusing on enabling the People Domain Activation within a Data-as-a-Product model.

The analyst collaborates with Domain Owners, Data Engineering, and cross-functional teams to define scope, document assets, elicit requirements, and ensure data quality standards are met. Strong SQL/Python and visualization skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of HR/People data.
• Deep understanding of People/HR processes and architecture.
• Knowledge of PI/PHI handling.
• Exposure to DM&G standards and enterprise operating models.
• Proficient in data analysis tools and languages (SQL, Excel, Python).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inventory of People domain data assets.
• Collaborate with data architects to support data models for People data.
• Define quality rules, validations, and issue-management workflows.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and mapping specs.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and insights.
• Use Purview to identify trusted datasets and assess data health.
• Gather requirements from business users and translate into analyses.
• Support business cases with quantitative analysis.
• Present findings to stakeholders with clear reports.
• Work with IT and business teams to implement data management best practices.
• Continuously seek improvements to processes through data-driven approaches.
