Job summary

DREAM seeks a People & Operations Manager to support our people systems and help build a connected, high-performing culture in Philadelphia. This role blends HR tasks—recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, training, and advancement—with engagement, staff gatherings, and organizational operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, people-centered, and energetic, with experience in HR processes and a strong focus on growth, recognition, and collaboration across AmeriCorps members and DREAM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years of experience in human resources, recruiting, employee engagement, nonprofit operations, or a related field.
• Strong organization, communication, relationship-building, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information professionally.
• Comfort learning and maintaining online systems and databases.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, training, or employee engagement preferred.
• Experience with BambooHR, TalentLMS, AmeriCorps, or nonprofit organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Foster a supportive, connected, fun and high-performing workplace culture.
• Coordinate staff gatherings, retreats, celebrations and recognition efforts.
• Gather employee feedback and identify engagement, communication and retention opportunities.
• Support internal communications related to people, culture, benefits and resources.
