Job summary

US Foods in Illinois is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support the Area Director of HR in executing area vision and goals. The HRM leads recruitment, policy interpretation, employee relations, performance management and training to build a talent pipeline and ensure compliance.

You will foster a safe, inclusive culture, collaborate with market leaders, participate in labor negotiations, and support operations with union agreements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years HR experience with at least 4 in professional (non-administrative) role.
• Experience consulting with and advising small management teams.
• Demonstrated strong foundation in core HR fundamentals to effectively support and advise the organization on various HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and influence recruitment, policy interpretation and administration.
• Facilitate training as needed, orientation or leader development.
• Support union-related administration and labor negotiations in partnership with ADHR and Legal.
