Job summary

Equinox is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner (Field) to support Florida and DC Metro clubs. This full-time role partners with local leadership to drive employee experience, investigations, and HR programs while balancing business needs.

You will lead internal workplace investigations, scale club leadership, coach management, and collaborate with central HR teams, with travel to field locations as needed. Competitive salary and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Human Resources experience with emphasis in employee relations/generalist HR.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience handling complex employee relations issues (EEO, FLSA) and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

The People & Culture Business Partner will be responsible for providing support, leadership, and oversight of People Services activities for assigned EQX clubs within the Florida and DC Metro market. This role reports directly to the People & Culture Regional Director and will have a heavy presence within the local Florida clubs.

The People & Culture Business Partner is a strategic business partner who helps the region achieve its goals by being an advocate, change leader, and champion for inspiring achievement in our employee teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading internal workplace investigations and shaping the employee experience to mitigate risk, solve conflict, and contribute to improving relationships across the Equinox club team (30-50%)
• Scale club leadership: action planning and talent assessments (15-20%)
• Execute corporate programs and other initiatives developed by the central People & Culture team (15 – 20%)
• Coach club management: day-to-day development of people manager skills and competencies (10 – 15%)
• Gauge the club atmosphere, escalating key themes and necessary incidents through meaningful and established feedback loops (10%)
• Synthesize and elevate key themes from across club team to Employee Relations Generate HR data reports as necessary

• 3+ years of Human Resources experience with an emphasis in employee relations/generalist HR. Experience supporting a large, multi-site field population preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal communication, persuasion, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Established assessment and decision-making skills with proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
• Proven experience in dealing with complex employee relations issues (EEO, FLSA, etc.) Ability to solve conflicts in a positive and fair manner.
• Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to set priorities and organize time. Demonstrates initiative and can work independently.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and personable. Has the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high standards. Willingness to travel to field locations within assigned region.
• Ability to travel to within the Florida and DC Metro market on an as needed basis.

Pay Transparency: $100k - $110k annually.
