Job Contributions and Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and promoting a positive work environment. Ensure employee relations investigations are resolved to the point of resolution following internal company practices / policies and legal requirements.
- Assist managers and field employees with the Reasonable Suspicion Process including documentation and investigations
- Assists in employee relations investigations case management, documentation, and reporting
Safety Program
- Assist in providing safety training (new hire and on-going) and guidance to field personnel on all safety-related issues.
- Assist in conducting daily ranch and crew safety inspections; report and address unsafe actions; if necessary, escalate and communicate findings to appropriate leadership
- Assist in conducting accident/injury investigations, root cause analysis, and issuing corrective disciplinary action.
- Prepare reports, inspections and results.
- Monitor the enforcement of safety policies and procedures.
- Provides information to PBP to support collaboration with other departments (e.g., Production, Workers’ Compensation, Fleet, etc.) for efficient delivery of training, and identification of issues and risk mitigation.
- Notify the People Business Partner (PBP) of identified hazards/risks and potential risk mitigation solutions and strategies.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness across the organization.
Training
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non- mandatory training and work assessments, including but not limited to:
- Support training for field employees in new policies and procedures, Harassment Prevention training sessions for newly hired and promoted supervisors and field managers. Including safety training (i.e., Illness and Injury Prevention Program “IIPP”, Job Safety Analysis “JSA”, etc.) for Crew Leaders and Punchers.
- Maintains training material database for all conducted trainings.
- Follow and implement recommended technical information on EHS issues on new equipment, projects, method of perform work, and hazard/risk assessments.
Compliance
- Coordinates and executes ranch inspections to ensure field operations comply with applicable labor laws and posting requirements.
- Conducts audits for rest & meal breaks, 7th workday compliance, and coordinates necessary training.
- Supports with LOAs, benefits enrollment, and employee inquiries as needed.
Process Improvements, Employee Engagement and Recognition Programs
- Coordinate in the Years of Service Program for field employees.
- Assists with planning and coordinating district company events.
Information Reporting
- Data collection and report generation on employment data: such as employee demographics, new hire, turnover, retention, absenteeism, active no hours.
Labor Retention
- Promote retention through company cultural worker’s programs – People Come First strategies
- Assists in administering the company’s District Climate Survey Action Plan to enhance employee engagement as measured by the employee satisfaction and engagement survey results
- Support company business / growth plans related to the advancement of employee retention and engagement accomplished through the promotion of and in the establishment of a fulfilling work environment

Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent experience. AA - Preferred

Pay Scale: $23.00 - $26.00
