Job description

Position: People Coordinator - Field Operations

Company: Accelevation LLC, voted the #1 fastest growing employer in 2024 by the Dayton Business Journal, is looking to hire a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) People (HR) Coordinator to join our team. This position will provide Human Resources support to a diverse workforce within our remote field operations team. This is an essential role supporting key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefit administration, compliance and HR administration. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of HR best practices specifically in recruiting and onboarding and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish and communicating and providing translation support to employees and the HR team.

Position Summary:
  • Assist in recruitment activities including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews and assisting managers throughout the talent acquisition process.
  • Execute onboarding activities and engage with hiring managers and new hires on onboarding plans. Conduct new hire orientations and employee trainings in both English and Spanish.
  • Respond to questions and concerns from employees and offer guidance on HR processes, programs, and policies.
  • Promote and support employee benefit programs; conduct informational briefings, assist employees with questions, and support annual open enrollment activities.
  • Establish and maintain HR recordkeeping and reports. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and service delivery of the department.
  • Update and maintain employee information in the HRIS/Payroll system.
  • Coordinate training sessions and learning and development initiatives.
  • Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements & Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
  • REQUIRED: Bilingual and Fully Proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to provide instantaneous English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English verbal and written translations.
  • At least 3 years of Human Resources experience (with 2 years focused on general HR experience).
  • Associate's degree or higher, preferably in a Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, critical thinking and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills are a must.
  • Project management and execution skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team & business.
  • Estimated travel to support business unit is up to 25%.
