Vast is seeking a People Business Partner to join the People Team at the Long Beach Campus. This full-time, exempt role partners with managers to drive organizational health, performance, and culture while guiding compensation and engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 3+ years as an HRBP, fluency in wage and hour laws, and experience in a fast-paced or manufacturing setting. Travel to other Vast locations required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree req or equivalent years of experience.
• 3+ years in a HR Business Partner role.
• Strong understanding of wage & hour laws.
• Ability to coach managers on development and feedback.
• Experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
• Experience with performance management, talent management, and employee relations.

Responsabilités

• Partner with stakeholders to address employee and business needs, focusing on health, change leadership, and talent management.
• Implement and support HR processes including performance cycles, goal setting, and compensation reviews.
• Provide counsel on employee matters with fairness and compliance.
• Support managers in developing and leading high-performing, inclusive teams.
• Deploy initiatives to boost engagement and satisfaction.
• Use HR data to identify trends and influence decisions; ensure data accuracy in systems.
• Maintain scalable HR workflows and processes.
• Model and reinforce Vast values in all interactions.
