Our client, a leader in the apparel industry, is looking for a passionate People and Culture Manager to join their team. This role will focus on fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging company culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day employee relations, managing onboarding and termination processes, and ensuring a supportive and productive workplace environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and leadership, handling concerns and promoting positive employee relations throughout the organization.
- Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and aligned with company values from day one.
- Termination and Offboarding: Manage the process of employee terminations with care, professionalism, and respect, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Stay informed about labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices to ensure HR operations comply with legal and organizational standards.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being, contributing to a healthy and thriving work culture.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and resolve employee issues with tact and diplomacy, fostering a collaborative and harmonious workplace.
- Training & Development: Work with leadership to identify opportunities for employee development and provide resources to support ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a People and Culture or HR management role, particularly in employee relations, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and employee engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to address sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization, providing leadership and support to staff.
- A commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.

This role is full-time and on-site in Downtown Los Angeles.
