Job summary

Apogee is seeking a DAF Counter WMD Policy Analyst to support the CWMD policy responsibilities for the Air Force. The role involves analyzing national strategy, managing daily staff actions, drafting staff products, and coordinating responses across DoD and AF components at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

You'll provide analytical and administrative support for CWMD governance structures, produce briefing materials, and help advance biodefense initiatives with interagency and partner communities.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
• Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• Ten years of experience in the discipline; five years in DoD.
• Preferred: TS/SCI clearance, Master's degree, eight years DoD experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage CWMD Staff Actions and Taskings from internal and external organizations (e.g., OSD, JS, HAF).
• Draft staff packages (SSSs, point papers, white papers, briefings) in AF format.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs and complete Comment Resolution Matrixes (CRMs).
• Support CWMD/Biodefense policy and program analysis; review DoD/Joint/AF docs for impacts and equities.
• Produce post-forum analysis reports and brief senior leaders.
• Plan and coordinate governance forums, including security, AV/IT, minutes and action items.
