Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a DAF Counter-WMD Policy Analyst to support CWMD and biodefense policy responsibilities for the HAF/A10. This on-site role at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA requires senior-level analytical, programmatic, and staff-support capabilities to advance national security objectives and governance processes.

The position emphasizes analysis of DoD and Air Force programs, policy directives, and interagency coordination with CI/GW, forums, and working groups.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen.
• Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Years of Experience: Ten years in the field; five years in DoD.

Responsibilities

• Manage CWMD staff actions and taskings; analyze requests and route them from internal and external organizations.
• Draft staff packages (SSSs, point papers, white papers, briefings) in AF format.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs and complete Comment Resolution Matrixes for reviews.
• Analyze DoD, Joint and Air Force programs to determine CWMD impacts and equities.
• Provide forum and event logistics support for CWMD, CBRN, and biodefense forums and conferences.
• Produce post-forum analyses and senior leader briefing materials; support governance forums with prep materials.
