Job summary

IRIS is seeking an experienced Client Pension Team Lead to join our Managed Services division and deliver LGPS administration services to clients. You will lead a team, manage workload, and ensure service levels and quality standards.

You’ll need 3-5 years’ pension administration experience, strong knowledge of pension legislation, leadership skills and excellent communication. This role offers a chance to impact client outcomes and career growth within a global pensions team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ pension administration experience ideally within an Education environment.
• Strong knowledge of pension legislation and LGPS highly advantageous.
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring colleagues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of pension administration professionals.
• Manage departmental KPIs, productivity measures and service level agreements.
• Schedule and allocate workloads to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitor quality standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Act as the first point of escalation for client concerns and operational issues.
• Produce management reporting and operational performance insights.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely pension administration processing.
• Maintain strong understanding of pension legislation and industry developments.
• Support LGPS end‑of‑year activities and client service meetings.
