Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Pensions Actuarial Consultant to join our nationwide team and help deliver high-quality advice on DB pension schemes for trustees and corporates. You will lead client meetings, provide informed views on current topics, supervise junior staff, and help set strategy and fees while collaborating across funding, investment, risk transfer and covenant spheres.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and strong analytical, numerical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage projects and distribute work to junior colleagues.
• Good understanding of UK pension schemes operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings and presentations.
• Provide tailored advice based on client circumstances.
• Act as final technical reviewer for actuarial calculations.
• Agree strategy, direction and resourcing for client work.
• Mentor junior staff or provide informal guidance on client work.
• Participate in setting and negotiating fees and monitoring fee budgets.
