Job summary

MassMutual's Pension Risk Transfer division seeks a Transition Consultant to lead the onboarding and implementation of newly sold PRT contracts in a hybrid Springfield office.

You will coordinate across legal, actuarial, operations, and data partners, manage timelines, review complex plan provisions, and ensure a seamless client experience for sponsors, intermediaries, and participants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in client-facing roles or relationship management.
• 3+ years coordinating projects or implementations with multiple stakeholders.
• 3+ years in Pension Risk Transfer or defined benefit pensions.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of newly sold PRT contracts for mass sponsors.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with sponsors, intermediaries, legal, actuarial, operations, and data teams.
• Review pension provisions and assist with contracts and certificates.
