Salary:

£50,000 - £60,000 Annual plus bonus and benefits

Location:

City, Manchester

Description:

Due to growth, my client, a leading occupational pensions consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced pensions professional (defined benefit) to join their national projects team in a Team Leading capacity. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading a team to ensure pensions projects (data prep, GMP, etc.) are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
  3. Identifying areas for process improvement.
  4. Supporting team development and identifying learning opportunities.
  5. Conducting regular performance reviews to manage team performance and address shortfalls.
  6. Identifying opportunities for revenue growth while optimizing team time.
  7. Supporting Relationship Managers and GMP teams with project queries.

Applicants must have experience in pensions projects or GMP, with prior team management or supervision preferred. Strong knowledge of 'defined benefit' pensions is essential, and experience in a pensions environment is highly desirable. This role may suit a current Pension Projects specialist seeking the next challenge.
